Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a hill to amend section 18, of Article-
LXVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Li-
censes."
On motion of Mr. Dougherty,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to-
present a bill authorizing Dr. William Stewart, guardian of
John Walter, a minor, to pass his final account with the-
Orphans' Court of Somerset County.
On motion of Mr. Ardinger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to'
introduce a bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Quarterly
Conference of Williamsport and Berkeley Mission of the Me-
thodist Protestant Church to hold and dispose of the Metho-
dist Protestant Church property in Clearspring, Washing-
ton County.
Mr. Hardcastle, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported*
favorably a bill, entitled an Act to exempt Caroline and
Kent Counties from the operation of chapter 231 of the Pub-
lic Local Laws, entitled an Act to protect fish and wild fowl
in the waters of Queen Anne's, Kent, Caroline and Harford?
Counties, passed at the January Session, 1870.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Langrell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported'
favorably a bill, entitled an Act to authorize Marcellus W
J. Larmore to kettle his accounts as Guardian to Ambrose
H. D. Larmore, and to pay over all money due said ward.
"Which was read a first time.
Mr. dark, of Baltimore City, reported favorably a bill,.
entitled an Act to confirm the bequest of the Rev. James Do-
lan, deceased, to the Young Catholic Friends' Society of the
City of Baltimore, for the purpose of establishing a Chil-
dren's Aid Society, and to incorporate the Board of Mana-
gers of the Dolan's Children's Aid Society, under the charge-
of the Young Catholic Friends' Society.

Mr. Franklin, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act supplementary to an Act, passed
February 17th, 1847, chapter 68, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Trustees of Buckingham Academy and Berlin
Female Seminary.
