So the amendment was rejected.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the order.
It was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Porter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill, entitled an Act to enable or advise the-
County Commissioners of Allegany County, under article I.
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Allegany Coun-
ty," under the head of "County Commissioners," to appoint
a County Treasurer to receive and disburse the county taxes
under their orders, by adding after section 20 of said Article-
the following sub-sections thereto.
On motion of Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Ford, Eareckson and Hard-
castle to introduce a bill to repeal the Act of December Ses-
sion, 1827, chapter 25, entitled an Act for the division of
Queen Anne's County into election districts, and enact a sub-
stitute therefor.
