Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate. Mr. Riggs submitted the following order: Ordered, That the State Printer be directed to send to the Editor of each newspaper in the State, a copy of the Daily Journal of the House. Which was adopted. Mr. Stone submitted the following order : Ordered, That until this House otherwise determines, that; the printing, necessary for the business of the House, be done by the Printer of the last House of Delegates. Which was adopted. The Speaker laid before the House a communication received from Hon. Levin Woolford, Comptroller of the Treasury,. together with the following report: [See Document A.] Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Ways- and Means, hereafter to be appointed. Mr. Turner submitted the following order : Ordered, That the address of the Speaker be entered on. the Journal. Which was adopted. On motion of Mr. Kirk, The House at 2 1/4 o'clock took a recess of twenty minutes. At 2.35 o'clock the House resumed the business of the' Session. 1 he Secretary of the Senate delivered the following message : BY THE SENATE, January 4, 1872.
