" An Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to enlarge the
powers of the Commissioners of Washington county, under
Article XXI, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Washington County," under the head of "County Commis-
sioners," by adding thereto the following sub-sections, passed
at January Session, A. D, 1870, chapter 222."
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Acts passed at -January Session, A. D., 1870,
chapter 222, " entitled an Act to enlarge the powers of the
Commissioners of Washington county, under Article XXI,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington
County," under the head of " County Commissioners," by
adding thereto the following sub-sections," be, and the same
is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2, And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Also,
The bill entitled an Act for the re-registration of voters in
Election District No. 2, in Frederick county,
Endorsed " Read a third time and passed by yeas and
nays, with proposed amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Section 3, add the following : " and furthermore be shall
register the names of all other qualified voters of said dis-
trict who shall apply for registration, so that the list pre-
pared by him, in accordance with this Act, shall contain the
names of all the qualified voters of said i district, arranged
according to precincts, whether they have been previously
registered or not."
Section 7, line 6, strike out, "but shall not publish the
same," and insert in lieu thereof the following : " and shall
publish the same in two newspapers, one of which shall be
of opposite politics to the other, printed in Frederick City,
for three successive weeks."
Add after section 10, the following, as section 11:
Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall not be con-
strued as implying any interference with the provisions of
the Act of 1870, chapter 459, in regard to the annual cor-
rection of lists of registration, which provisions, as far as they
apply to Frederick District No 2, are not intended to be in-
terfered with by this Act.
Sec. 11. Amend by inserting "12" in lieu of "II."
