Act to provide for the Inspection of Steam Boilers in. the City
of Baltimore.

The bill en titled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Washington county to subscribe to the capital
stock of the Williamsport and Downesville Turnpike Com-
pany,
Endorsed "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays, with proposed amendment."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
At the end of the first section, add the following words :
"And the said County Commissioners are authorized to levy
upon the assessable property of the county, an amount suffi-
cient to pay for the stock so subscribed for by them ; -Pro-
vided, that in accordance with the provisions of Article III,
section 54, of the Constitution, this Act shall be published
in the newspapers printed in said county, for two months
before the next election for members of the House of Dele-
gates, and shall also be approved by a majority of all the
members elected to each House of the General Assembly, at
its next session after said election.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Bal-
timore, passed January Session, 1867, chapter 424,
Endorsed '' Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays, with proposed amendment"

Strike out the 5th and 6th sections.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 222, of Acts
passed January Session, 1870, title "Washington County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners,"
Endorsed '' Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays, with proposed amendments."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the word "entitled," in the title, strike all the
words following to the end of the bill, and insert as follows:
