ington delegation.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 87, of Article
LXXV. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Plead-
ing, Practice and Process," and to re-enact the same so as
to read as follows.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article XXI., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
" Washington County," sub-title " Williamsport.'' to come
in after section 331 of said Article, and also to repeal section
332 of said Article, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Washing-
ton delegation.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act for the benefit of the Peabody In-
stitute, of the City of Baltimore.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Library.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to change the* name of " Potato
Necks: election district," in Somerset county, to " Fairmount
'election district." .
Which was read a first time and referred to the Somerset
delegation.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to confer additional powers upon
the President and Managers of the Beaver Creek and South
Mountain Turnpike Company, to charge all persons tolls
using or travelling the road of the company, and not passing
through any toll-gate on said road, except when passing from
one part of their farms to another.
Which was read a first time and referred to the "Washing-
' -ton delegation.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to pay to Banner Graves, of. Wash-
ington county, the sum of twenty dollars, pension due Joseph
Graves, deceased.
