1872.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, 1065.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend, by inserting the following after (lection 26 :
section 27. And be it enacted, Thai for the first election
to be held under this Act, on the first Monday in May next,.
J. E. Unkerfer is hereby appointed Judge of the game in
ward No. 1, and Daniel Sweadner Judge in ward No. 2, and
these Judges shall give at least ten days' notice prior to said
election; shall keep the polls open on said first day of May,
from 1 o'clock, P. M., to 4 o'clock, P, M.; shall appoint a
clerk, fur each poll, to keep a word of all persons Toting and?
alt persons voted for, and shall notify the persons elected,.
Burgess and Commissioners of their election, and the lat-
ter shall immediately enter upon their duties as provided
for by this Act. The Judges and Clerk shall each receive
one dollar for their services, to be paid by the Burgess and
Commissioners.
Section 27. Amend by changing 27 to 2&.
On motion of Mr. Miller,
The Senate amendments were concurred in.
The bill, as amended, was then passed by yeas and nays,.
