Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being
The bill entitled an Act to amend sections 98,100 and
102, of Article XXX., of the Code Of Public General Laws,
title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Larceny ;"
also, to add further sections to the said Article, making
other provisions for the, trial and punishment of the crime
of petty larceny, and to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter 50,
and the section in reference to petty larceny thereby added
to the said Article ; and also to provide for the punishment,
of the larceny of things attached to the freehold,
Said bill being upon -a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Bond,
The further consideration thereof was indefinitely post-
poned.
Mr. Travers, the rules being suspended, submitted the following order:
Ordered, That when this House adjourn to-day, it stand ad-
journed until Monday at 11 o'clock.
Which was read.
Mr.' Streett moved to lay the order on the table.
The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,
Mr. Kirk demanded the, yeas and nays.
