In line 13, after the word "attachment," insert "pro- vided that upon demand of attaching creditor or his attor- ney a subsequent summons will issue to compel the appear- ance of the garnishee for cross-examination." Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act passed, at Jan- uary Session, 1870, chapter 206, entitled an Act to create State banking institution, and to enable the several banks in this State—State and National—to avail of the provisions thereof, by repealing the 12th section of said Act, and sub- stituting the following in lieu of the same. Which was read a first time. , - Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporation reported favorably, A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Pea-body Heights and Waverly Passenger Railroad. .Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Co- operative Business Agency Company. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled. an Act to .amend the charter of the Pea- body Savings Bank, of Baltimore City. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of January Ses- sion, 1853, chapter 194, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Company, by adding an additional section thereto, relating to the payment by the said company to the State of a certain proportion of the money by it received for the transportation of passenger*. over the roads of the said company. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Real' Estate Bank, of Baltimore. |
