On motion of Mr. Riggs,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to in-
troduce a bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 39 of Article
XV. of the Code of Public Local LAWS, entitled "Montgom-
ery County," relating to Justices of the Peace and Consta-
bles in said county, and re-enact the same, with amend-
ments.
On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City,
Leave was granted to Messrs, dark, at Baltimore City,
McColgan, Travers, Colton, of Baltimore City, and Chaisty
to introduce a bill to confirm the bequest of the Rev. James
Dolan, deceased, to the Young Catholics' Friend Society of
the City of Baltimore, for the purpose of establishing a
Children's Aid Society, and to incorporate the Board of Managers of the Dolan's Children's Aid Society, under the
charge of the Young Catholic'}' Friend Society.
Mr. Turner, Chairman of the Committee on the Contin-
gent Fund, submitted the following
REPORT.
HOUSE OF DELEGATES, January 18th, 1872.
The Committee on the Contingent Fund, placed at the dis-
posal of the Executive, respectfully report that they have ex-
amined the vouchers submitted to them by the Governor,
amounting, in the aggregate, from the 1st April, 1870, to
January 10th, 1872, to the mm of $1:3,147.74, and they
find the same correct, and the purposes for which the pay-
ments were made were, in the opinion of the Committee
both proper and legitimate.

Which was adopted.
Mr. Young, of Allegany, from a Select Committee, reported"
favorably, a bill entitled an Act to alter and amend sections
193, 194, 19,5, 196, 197, 198, and 199, of Article I. of the
Supplement to the Code or Public Local Laws, under the
head of Allegany County, relating to Birds, and to enact the
same with amendments, so as to re id as follows.
Which was read a first time.
