Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to create a loan to provide for the payment of the overdue debt of the State, and for the ex- changing or taking up the sterling debt of the State, and issuing a currency loan in lieu thereof. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled, an Act to provide for the re-assessment of certain property in Baltimore City, belonging to John S. Sittings. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to heat and ventilate the State House. Which, was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to add the following sections to Arti- cle XIX. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset coun- ty, sub-title "Retailers," and to be sections 149, 150, 151, 152, 163, 154, 156, 156, 157 and 158. Which was read a first time. Also, unfavorably, A bill entitled an Act to prevent the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors in the town of Williamsport, Maryland, and within three miles thereof, from the first day of May, 1872, and for a period of two years thereafter.
