100 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 18,
A petition for a pension from Mary Sweeting, widow of
Benjamin B. Sweeting, for correction and restoration.
Also,
The petition of Mathew H. Munroe, (Eleventh District of
Baltimore county,) for correction and restoration.
Also,
A petition lor a pension from Eliza Winingder, widow of
Lewis Winingder, tor correction and restoration.
Also,
A petition for a pension from John Mumma, for correction
and. restoration,
Which were severally read and. referred to the Committee
on Pensions.
Mr. Streett presented the petition of the Commissioners of
Harford county, praying the passage of a law retaining the
control of the Almshouse and Hospital in Frederick county
in the hands of the present Board of Trustees and Superin-
tendent.
Which was read.
Mr, Streett moved that the petition be referred to a Select
Committee of five, one from each of the Counties of Harford,
Charles, Montgomery, Allegany and Washington.
Pending the consideration whereof,
On motion of Mr. Groome,
Said petition was referred to Messrs. Streett, dark, of
Montgomery, Young, of Washington, Chapman, Miller,
Phillips, Rowe, Routzahn and Porter.
Mr. Miller presented the petition of John S. McClurg, J.
Alfred Ritter, Ezra Houck and one hundred others, praying
the Legislature to repeal Article XI., Code of Local Laws
for Frederick county, sub-title "Almshouse," and. re-enact
the same with amendments.
Which was read, and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
Mr. Langrell presented, the petition of H. D. Larmore, re-
questing an Act to be passed allowing him (a minor) to re-
ceive from his guardian property inherited from Reuben
Larmore.
'Which was read, and referred to Messrs. Langrell,, John-
son and. Franklin.
