enact the following as sections 62 and 63, of Article 16, of
the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Prince George's
county, sub-title "Juries."

Which was reid a first time and referred to the Prince
George's delegation.

The bill entitled an Act to distribute the Academic Fund
and High School Fund of Carroll county, to the Western
Maryland College and Manchester Academy, in Carroll
county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Education.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868, chap-
ter 253, entitled an Act to remove cases of guardianship from
Somerset and Worcester counties to Wicomico county.

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Brat-
tan, Dennis and Gordy.

The bill entitled an Act to protect fish and wild fowl in
the waters of Queen Anne's, Kent and Harford counties.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Wild Fowl.

Mr. Ritter, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules be-
ing suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 85 of Article 11, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, sub-title,
"Frederick," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Chapman, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reputed favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
69, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Officers,"
regulating and prescribing the number anl compensation of
officers of the Senate and House of Delegates, and repealing
Acts inconsistent therewith.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for maintaining and keep-
ing in repair the puolic roads of Prince George's county.

Mr. Owens, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
