The House proceeded to the consideration of the General
Banking bill.
On motion of Mr. Blake,
The further consideration thereof was informally post-
poned, and the House proceeded to the consideration of "The
bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of sixty-nine
thousand two hundred and ninety-six dollars and twenty-
eight cents, to pay the various mechanics and others the
amount due them for work and labor done, and materials
furnished in the erection of theGovernor's mansion at An-
napolis, and the enclosure and improvement of the grounds
surrounding the same."
