The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills :

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Town of Upper
Marlborough, in Prince George's county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Prince
George's delegation.

The bill entitled An Act to amend the 10th section of the
Act of 1868, chapter 299, relating to Public Roads, so as to
include Wicomico county therein, and to make all the provi-
sions of the said Act apply to Wicomico county so as to read as
follows.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Wicomico
delegation and Mr. Brattan.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of Snow Hill
in Worcester county.

Which was read a first time and referrred to the Committee
on Corporations.

The bill entitled an Act of incorporation of the Farmers' and
Planters' Produce Co-operative Association.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Shower, (the rules being suspended,) the
House proceeded to the consideration of the bill entitled an
Act to empower the Mayor and Common Council of Manches-
ter, to subscribe to the capital stock of the Parkton and Man-
chester Railroad Compony,

Said bill being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Gatch,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the bill
made the order of the day, for Thursday 24th inst.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the Senate bill enti-
tled an Act to authorize the Adjutant General to furnish
arms for the use of the Maryland Agricultural College,

Endorsed, "House amendments concurred in with an
amendment, and bill passed by yeas and nays."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED TO HOUSE AMENDMENT.

At the end of the House amendment to section 1, add the
words: or such other suitable arms as may now be in the ar-
mory.

The Senate amendment to House amendment was then
adopted and the bill, as amended, passed by yeas and nays,
as follows :
