Public General Laws, title "Landlord and Tenants," sub-
title ''Distress for Rent," and re-enact the same with an
amendment,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Thomas, of Queen Anne's, submitted the following
amendment:

Sec. 13, line 4, strike out the word "thirty," and insert
the word fifty.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hoblitzell submitted the following amendments :

Strike out from the word "and," in line 2, including "offi-
cer," in line 3; add at the end of line 4: Provided that the
City of Baltimore shall be exempted from the provisions of
this Act.

Strike out section 2.

Which were severally read and rejected.

The bill, as amended, was then read a third time, and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the St. Paul's
Savings Bank of Baltimore,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 164, 165, 167
and 169, of an Act passed January session, 1868, chapter
87, entitled at Act to add additional sections to Article 11, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, relating
to the powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and Com-
mon Council of Frederick, to follow sections 161, and to sub-
stitute in lieu of sections 164, 165, 167 and 169, the follow-
ing.

Being upon a second reading.

The question recurring upon the amendments reported by
Select Committee, (Frederick county delegation,) as entered
in Journal, 18th instant,

The amendments were then adopted, and the bill as amended
read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third
reading.

Mr. Owens, (the rules being suspended,)

Moved that leave be granted to the Cecil and Harford dele-
gations, to introduce a bill relating to gunning for wild fowl
in Cecil and Harford counties.
