The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 6 of Article 83,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Exemption
from Execution," and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows, with proposed amendments.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out the first section, and insert the following as sec-
tion 1 :
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
section 6, of the Act of 1861, entitled "an Act to amend the
eighty-third Article of the Code of Public General Laws, by
exempting a certain amount of property from execution," be
and the same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted so as to read
as follows.
Strike out title, and insert the following as title to tho bill:
An Act to amend the Act of 1861, chapter 8, relating to
exemption of property from execution.
The Senate amendments were then severally read and
adopted and the bill as amended passed by yeas and nays.
