JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 22,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend section 1, 4th line, by inserting after the word
"districts," the words : and to alter the same from time to
time.

Amend section 3, 6th line, by inserting after the word
"the," the word ordinary.

Amend section 8th, 3d line, after the word "ploughs," by
inserting the words : and determine the number of hours
that shall constitute a day's work, and cause the same to be
entered upon the minutes of their proceedings, and to notify
the Supervisors thereof in writing..

The proposed amendments were severally read and adopted.
