920 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 22,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section six of an Act
passed January eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, chapter
two hundred and ninety-eight, sub-title an Act to incorporate
the Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 110 of Article 11
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, re-
lating to the powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and
Common Council of Frederick, and also section 118 of an Act
passed January session 1864, chapter 1, entitled an Act to
repeal section 118 of Article 11, of the Code of Public Local
Laws relating to Frederick county, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to re-enact said sections 110 and 118
with amendments.

Which was was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Johns Hopkins
Mutual Life Insurance Company of Maryland

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2. of chapter 36,
passed March 20th, 1867, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Maryland Metallic and Chemical Company of Baltimore city,
and to re-enact the same as amended.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Land
Improvement Loan and Deposit Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Hall's Spring Railroad Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate and make a Turnpike
Road from the Hagerstown and Waynesboro' Turnpike, at
or near Leitersburg, to intersect the Smithsburg and Hagers-
town Turnpike, at or near Daniel Spessards' barn, on said
road, as now laid out in Washington county.
