On motion of Mr. Ritter,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal section 85, of Article 11, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick county, sub-title, "Frederick,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Shower,

. Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a
bill to authorize the Mayor and Common Council of Man-
chester, Carroll county, to subscribe to the stock of the Park-
ton and Manchester Railroad. .

On motion of Mr. Wiley,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Wiley, Webb and Markland
to introduce a bill to authorize the Governor to appoint an
additional Notary Public for Baltimore city, who shall be
conversant with the German language.

On motion of Mr. Wiley,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to in-
troduce a bill authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore to submit the question of endorsing the bonds of the
Lynchburg and Danville Railroad, to the amount of $750,-
000, to a vote of the people of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation-to intro-
duce a bill to repeal sections 33, 34, 35 and 36, of Article 10,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, " Dorchester Coun-
ty," sub-title, " Cambridge," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
amend Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Chancery," sub-title, "Jurisdiction," by adding
thereto an additional section.

On motion of Mr. Harris,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill to legalize the bequests of Catherine Reynolds, of
Frederick county, to certain churches.

On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Washington delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington county to subscribe to the Paradise Turnpike Com-
pany.

On motion of Mr. McCreery,
