Mr. Ritter presented the petition of Catherines. Hanshew,
praying for a pension.

The petition of the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Coun-
cil of Frederick, against the passage of the Laws amending
sections 141 and 310, of Article 11, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick county, &c.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Colton presented the petition of Hiram Woods, John
W. Ross, Wm. G. Harrison, Jesse Tyson and others, pray-
ing the Legislature to pass Senate bill entitled an Act to re-
quire the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to take charge
of and keep in repair all highways and bridges within the
city limits.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Gatch, Cameron,
Kilbourn, Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, Wiley, Webb and
Markland.

Mr. Martin presented the petition of Elizabeth Hazel, of
S. Mary's county, praying for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
