The bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
fees of Justices of the Peace.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Roman Catholic
Archbishop of Baltimore, to sell a certain parcel of land.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, Article 42, of
the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact and amend
the same by adding a clause authorizing the Governor to re-
mit any part of the time for which any person may be sen-
tenced to confinement in the Penitentiary,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Courts," providing for rendering judgments for the dama-
ges awarded by the jury, upon the ratification of inquisitions
for condemning lands,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1860, chapter
265, entitled an Act to incorporate the Consolidation Coal
Company,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Veitch moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and that the bill be printed.

The question recurring upon sustaining the motion sub-
mitted by Mr. Veitch,

On motion by Mr. Percy,
