AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
First Amendment. Strike out all after the word "pur-
poses," in the 47th line of section 14 to the word "and," ia
the 50th line of said section.
Second Amendment. Strike out that part of the 17th sec-
tion after the word "Railroads," in the 8th line, and add in
lieu thereof the following words : charges at rates not exceed-
ing ten cents per ton of property, or five cents per passenger
for each and every mile of transportation, but for any dis-
tance, twenty-five cents may be charged for a passenger or for
any quantity of freight.
Third Amendment. Strike out all of the 20th section after
the word "shares," in the 6th line.
