The bill entitled an Act to authorize the scooping for oys-
ters, in certain waters of Dorchester county,

Endorsed ''Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In sec. 1, line 3, strike out the words "citizens of the
State," and insert in lieu thereof, the words : "residents of
Dorchester county."

In sec. 7, lines C and 7, strike out the words "Fishing
Bay and Honger River," and insert in lieu thereof, the
words: Honger River and that part of Fishing Bay which
lies to'the southward and westward of a straight line drawn
from the middle of the mouth of Tedious Creek to Clay Is-
land Lighthouse.

In sec. 2, line 7, strike out the words "not herein exempt-
ed," and insert in lieu thereof, the words: described in sec-
tion one.

In sec. 4, line 5, insert after the words "scoops," the
words: in the waters described in section one of this Act.

In sec. 8, line 17, strike out the words "and becomes sure-
ty for the same."

The proposed amendments were severally read and adopted,
