JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 18,

Mr. Baldwin, of Harford, submitted the following amend-
ment:

Section 2, line 4, after the word "railing," insert the
words: payable to the order of the said James Touchstone.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Biddle submitted the following amendment:

Section 2, line 4, strike out the words : thirteen thousand^
one hundred and eighty-three dollars and eighty-five cents,
and insert the words: twelve thousand, five hundred and
seventy-five dollars and five cents.

The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ment,
