On motion of Mr. Touchstone,

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to amend certain portions of the Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harlord Counties Boom
Company, passed at the January session of 1867, chapter 195,
and to require the said Company to remove certain and all
obstructions placed by them in the Susquehanua river in vio-
lation of the aforesaid Act.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Biddle submitted the following amendment:

Sec. 1, line 4, strike out all after the word "condemn,"
and add the following : Land and fisheries, and to place
piers and other obstructions in fisheries below the head of
sloop navigation, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Which, was adopted.
