Section 4. And be it enacted, That the sum of five hundred
dollars is hereby appropriated to carry into effect the provisions
of this Act, and the same shall be under the direction of the
Governor, for the purpose hereof, and the Comptroller shall,
under the order of the Governor, draw his warrant on the
Treasurer for the said sum in full for all accounts and expen-
ses incurred in execution of said Act.

Which was adopted, and the bill as amended read a second
time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Also,

Reported favorably the Senate bill entitled an Act to
amend an Act passed by the General Assembly of Maryland
1868, chapter 238, entitled "Licenses," so as to empower
traders to sell the license with the stock of goods, without
amendments.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled,
an Act for founding a college at Chestertown, without
amendments.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Iron and Coal
Company of Frederick county.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed De-
cember session, 1824, entitled an Act to confirm an Act of
the General Assembly of Virginia, entitled an Act incorpo-
rating the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1860, chapter
265, entitled an Act to incorporate the Consolidation Coal
Company.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of the Committee on Internal Im-
provements, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 77, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Railroads," without amendments.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 164, Article 30,
Code of Public General Laws, title, "Crimes and Punish-
ments," and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows.
