Mr. Crawford submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Brattao have leave of absence until
Wednesday next.

On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Washington delegation to intro-
duce a bill to repeal section 145, of the Acts of 1867, entitled

"Hagerstown," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Crawford,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Crawford, Gordy and Brat-
tan to introduce a bill prohibiting the hauling of seines in the
waters of Wicomico county, after the tenth of May of each
year.

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 13, of Article 18, of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "Clerks of Courts," and
re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. German,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Hoods' Mills and Brook-
well Turnpike Company of Howard county.

On motion of Mr. Biddle,

Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill to amend the charter of the Town of Cecilton, in Cecil

county.

On motion of Mr. Martin,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Martin, Loker and Chapman
to introduce a bill to provide for a new election district in
St. Mary's county, out of a part of the 4th election district

of said county.

On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to in-
troduce a bill to protect fish in the waters of Anne Arundel

county.

On motion of Mr. Biddle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on In pections to in-
troduce a bill for the relief of B. F. May, W. s. Pitcher an d
H. B. Jones, late inspectors of grain in the City of Balti-
more.
