The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10, of
Article 97, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
State Wharfinger and wharves, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Said bill being upon a second reading.

Mr. Sanner submitted the following amendment:

Sec. 10. He shall demand and collect from all vessels, ex-
cept such as are ladened with tobacco, lying at any of the
State wharves, the same rates and charges collected by the
City of Baltimore, as provided by the Baltimore city
Code, sub-title "Harbor and Harbor Masters," sub-title
"Wharves," section 31.
