Mr. Brattan, Chairman of a Select Committee reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prohibit the sale of all spirituous
or intoxicating liquors within the bounds of Potato Neck
district, in Somerset county, and providing for the submis-
sion of the same to the legally qualified voters of said dis-
trict.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Brown, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate "The Kent Island
Narrows Bridge and Navigation Company," and to repeal
an Act, passed January 21, 1820, entitled an Act to erect a
bridge over the Narrows of Kent Island, in Queen Anne's
county, and the supplements thereto, so far as the same may
be necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this law.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hoblitzell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
compensation of the Judges of the Orphans' Courts of the
several counties, and to fix the compensation of the Judges
of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city.

Mr. Choate, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to build a bridge over Jones' Falls,
between the fifth and sixth mile stones on the Falls road,
in Baltimore county.

A bill entitled an Act to regulate fences in Carroll county.

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
cle 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Talbot
County," to come in after section 81, of said Article.
