On motion of Mr. Hardcastle, of Talbot,

The bill with proposed amendments was leferred to the
Committee on Wild Fowl.

Mr. Jordan, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 21 of Article 7, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Carroll County,"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to establish voting precincts in
Westminster, district No. 7, of Carroll county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Thomas, of Frederick, Chairman of a Select Commit-
tee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 141, of Article 11,
of the Code of Public Local Laws for Frederick county, sub-
title "Frederick," and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was lead a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 310, of Article 11,
of the Code of Public Local Laws for Frederick county, and
section 310, of the supplement thereto, sub-title "Sheriff,"
and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. McCreery, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal so much of section 12.,
chapter 267, of the Act passed March, I860, entitled an Act
to incorporate a Company to open in part and improve the
road from Frederick city to the Spout Spring, &c., us relates-
to rates of toll, and enact the following.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Standish, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter
71, adding additional sections to the Code of Public General
Laws, in relation to Fish and Fisheries, sub-title "Waters
of the Potomac River lying between the mouth of New Creek
and Weaverton Dam," and re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
