Which was read.

Mr. Blake, Chairman of the Comittee on Public Build-
ings, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of sixty-
nine thousand two hundred and ninety-six dollars and twen-
ty-eight cents, to pay the various mechanics and others the
amounts due them for woik and labor done, and materials
furnished in the erection of the Governor's Mansion at An-
napolis, and the enclosure and improvement of the grounds
surrounding the same.

Which was read a first time.
On motion of Mr. Marbury,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday next.

On motion of Mr. Blake,

The vote by which the bill had been made the order of
the day for Tuesday next.

Was reconsidered.

On motion of Mr, Blake,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the clay for Friday, 18th inst.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments sections 12 and 14, of Article 41, Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Potomac,"
and to add additional sections thereto, for the further protec-
tion of Fish and regulation of the Shad and Herring Fish-
eries in said river.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Harritigton, Chairman of a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
98, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, with
proposed amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Sec. 16, line 4, strike out the word "Talbot."

In line 6 of same section, after the word "river," insert
the following : included within the bounds of said counties.
