" The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill referred to the Baltimore city delegation.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the bill entitled an
Act supplementary to an Act for the establishment of an
Academy at Elkton, in Cecil county, passed at December
session, 1817.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Cecil dele-
gation .

The bill entitled an Act of incorporation of the Howard
Mutual Life Insurance and Trust Company of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

The bill entitled an Act to amend chapter 424, of the laws
passed January session, 1868', incorporating the town of
Berlin in Worcester county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 324 and 325, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the town of Wil-
liamsport, Washington couaty, and to re-enact the same
with amendments,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 165, 166, 167,
168, 169, 170, 171, 173, 174 and 185, of Article 10, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, relating to
"Roads." and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Sud-
lersville, in Queen Anne's county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act for the payment of an annual pen-
sion to William Brown, of Annapolis, who lost his arm
whilst in the employ of the State,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the per diem and
mileage of jurors in Talbot and Caroline counties,
