A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 324 and 325 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the town of Williams-
port, Washington county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.

Mr. Thomas, of Queen Anne's, Chairman of a Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Sudlers-
ville, in Queen Anne's county,

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to amend chapter 424, of the Laws
passed January session, 1868, incorporating the town of Ber-
lin, in Worcester county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Veitch, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners for Montgomery county, to subscribe
to the capital stock of Turnpike Companies in Montgomery

county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Harrington, Chairman of & Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 165, 166, 167, 168,
169, 170, 171, 173, 174 and 185, of Article 10, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, relating to roads

and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Brattan, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 434,

of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January session 1868, entitled an Act to grant donations to
Wicomico county, for the use of Academies and Schools, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill
