Deloser, asking for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on. Pen-
sions.

Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of Elizabeth Finke and
Elizabeth Titlow, asking for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Hoblitzell presented the petition of Eliza Henson
Owens, widow of Isaac Owens, of Benjamin, to be placed on
the Pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Harrington presented the petition of Jas. A. Robbins
and 150 other citizens of Dorchester county, asking for a
change in the Oyster law for said county, allowing citizens
of said county to scoop for oysters in boats and canoes of ten
tons burthen, in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delega-
tion .

Mr. Sliipley presented a petition from citizens of Baltimore
county, for a ten hour law for cotton and woolen factories for
the State or Maryland.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Manu-
factures.

Mr. Ehlen submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Winters be excused from serving on
the Committee on Corporations, and that the Speaker appoint
another in his place.

Which was adopted.

And Mr. S tan dish appointed upon said Committee.

Mr. Ncill submitted the following order ;

Ordered, That where any delegation consists of more than
three members, an additional copy of the Maryland Code
shall be furnished them fur use during the session, by the
Librarian.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Duke submitted the following order :

Ordered, that Mr. Duke be excused from serving as Chair-
man on the Committee on Pensions.

Which was adopted.
