Act to repeal chapter 302 of Acts of General Assembly of
1868, entitled an Act to provide for relunding money paid
into the State Treasury, reported unfavorably thereon.
The unfavorable report was adopted.

vide free scholarships in the Burkettsville Female Seminary,
and to prescribe the mode of appointing the beneficiaries.

Mr. Crawford, Chairman of the Committee on Currency,
to whom bad been referred the House bill entitled an Act to
create State Banking Institutions, and to enable the several
Banks in this State—State and National—to avail of the
provisions thereof, reported favorably thereon with proposed
amendments.
Mr. Wilmer, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably, a bill entitled an Act to regulate the trial fees of
the State's Attorney for Kent county.

Mr. Shipley, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably, a bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," by adding thereto the
following additional sections in relation to swine running at
large.

favorably, a bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay Wm. H. Morgan, Tax Collector for Harford county,
for overpayment into the Treasury for the years 1862 and
1863.

favorably, a bill entitled an Act to ratify the action of the
Mayor and City Council of the City of Cumberland, author-
izing Jones' Alley to be closed.
