ral Laws, Article 10, relating to attachments, and section 4,
by omitting the words relating to citizenship.

A bill entitled an Act to amend Article 10, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, by aiding thereto
the following sections relating to the jurisdiction of Justices
of the Peace for said county.

Mr. McLane from the Committee on Ways and Means,

reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Charles connty to review and correct the valuation
of the lands in said county assessed to Thos. J. Gardiner,
Wm. H Higgs and Frederick Dawson.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Watkins, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to appoint
an additional Justice of the Peace for the 4th and 5th elec-
tion districts in Montgomery county.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower Richard
T. West to place two gates on the public road t ugh his
farm in Montgomery county.

Mr. Wootton, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 299 of the Laws of
Maryland, approved March 30, 1868, entitled an Act to re-
peat the Act of 1867, chapter 290, entitled an Act to add a
new A rticle to the Code of Public General Laws, to be enti-
tled Public Roads, except so far as said Act relates to Somer-
set county.
