On motion of Mr. Kean,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to charter the Citizens Bank of Cumberland,
Allegany county.

On motion of Mr. Street,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce
a bill to amend the Public School Laws, title "Harford coun-
ty," sub-title "Sheriff."

On motion of Mr. Standish,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to introduce
a bill to ratify the action of the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Cumberland, authorizing Jones' Alley to be
closed.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to authorize and direct the Judges of the
Circuit Court for Allegany county, to grant a bill of review
in the case of Henry J. McNamee vs. his creditors.

On motion of Mr. Thomas, of Queen Anne's,

Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's delegation and
Mr. Hardcastle, of Caroline, to introduce a bill incorporating
the town of Sudlersville, in Queen Anne's county.

On motion of Mr. Wilmer,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to

introduce a bill to repeal sections 1 and 4 of Article 13, of

the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Bastardy and

Fornication," and to enact two new sections in lieu thereof.

On motion of Mr. Garey,

Leave was granted to the Caroline delegation and Mr.
Brown to introduce a bill to repeal sections 153 and 150 of
Article 6, of the Public Local Laws of Caroline county, sub-
title, "Roads," and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows.

On motion of Mr, Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Somerset delegation and Mr. Den-
nis, of Worcester, to introduce a bill to repeal chapter 212 of
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January
session, 1868, entitled an Act to add to Article 19, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset county, entitled "Ju-
rors," an additional section.

On motion of Mr. Touchstone,
