The bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the
General Assembly to the bequest of David Smith, late of
Worcester county, deceased, to the Committee of Pitt's creek
Church in said county,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Friendship
Horse Thief Association of Washington county,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

_ The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Harford countyj to sell the present poor-house
farm, and purchase another, and erect suitable buildings for
the use of the paupers of said county,

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City
of Baltimore," sub-title -'Police," and be section 82? of said

Council of Hagerstown to levy a tax upon all dogs owned or
kept in said town

ciary, (the rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, Article 42, of the
Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact and amend the
same by adding a clause authorizing the Governor to remit
any part of the time for which any person may be sentenced
to confinement in the Penitentiary.
