Mr. James Wilson, delegate elect from Allegany, appear-
ed, qualified, and took his seat.

Mr. Blake presented the petition of J. C. Deaver, Wm.
H. Bolton and 100 others, asking for an alteration in the
management of the Iceboat Chesapeake.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Gardner presented the petition of Frederick Hause, to
be placed on the Pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Wilmer presented the petition of Richard Hyson and
38 other members of the M. E. Church, and other citizens of
Chestertown, Kent county, praying the passage of an Act
granting additional corporate powers to the Trustees of said
Church.

Which was read and referred to the Kent county delega-
tion and Mr. Hardcastle, of Caroline.

Mr. Marshall presented the memorial of Wencil Reisley
and others, for the repeal or modification of chapter 448, of
the A'ct of 1868, relating to Licenses of Real Estate Bro-
kers.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Gorman presented a petition from sundry citizens
