Mr. Veitch, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 55, 56, 57, 58, 60,
65 and 73, of Article 15, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Montgomery county," sub-title " Rockville," and
to re-enact the following sections in lieu thereof.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868, chapter
138, relating to election districts in Charles county, by add-
ing an additional section to said Act.

Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, Chairman of a Select
Committee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 367, approved
March 30th, 1868, entitled an Act to aathorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to subscribe in
behalf of said county to the capital stock of the Baltimore
and Drum Point Railroad Company, and issue bonds for the
same and provide for their redemption, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Mr. Grouse, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Carroll county to levy a tax of money upon the
taxable property of Carroll county, to pay Robert J. Jimi-
son, of said county, for the boarding, clothing and nursing
of Benjamin Jimison, a lunatic pauper of said county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Chapman, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 93 to 95, inclu-
sive, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland for
Charles county, sub-title "Roads," and to repeal chapter
452, of Acts passed January session, 1868, entitled an Act
to repeal sections 96 to 109, inclusive of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland for Charles county, under the head
of " Roads," and to enact the following in lieu thereof, and
to provide a Road system for St. Mary's county.
