Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Commitee on Claims, re-
ported unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act for the relief of John Wesley Shem-
well, of Calvert county.

The report was adopted.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the New York and
George's Creek Coal Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Citizen's Rail-
way Company of Baltimore city.
Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Berlin Bridge
Company of Frederick county.
Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to extend the corporate powers of
the Cumberland and Somerset Turnpike Road Company, in-
corporated by the Act of 1841, chapter 60, and the supple-
ment thereto, passed by the Act of 1842, chapter 96, until
the year 1900.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1860, chapter
265, entitled an Act to incorporate the Consolidated Coal
Company.

Mr. Dennis, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Worcester
county, relating to the protection of fish in Synepuxent Bay,
in Worcester county.

ral Assembly to the bequest of David Smith, late of Worces-
ter county, deceased, to the Committee of Pitt's Creek Church,
