Mr. Neill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Friendship Horse
Thief Association of Washington county.
Which was read a first time.

Mr. Cameron, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably, without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to create an additional
Justice of the Peace for the 11th election district of Balti-
more county.

Mr. Streett, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Harford county to sell the present Poorhouse farm
and purchase another, and erect suitable buildings for the
use of the paupers of said county.

Which was read a first time.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills :

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 171 of Article 93,
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the invest-
ment by guardians of the proceeds of sale of real estate be-
longing to their wards, and sold by a Trustee in equity, and
to re-enact the same as follows.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of a
sum of money to Charles E. Hayward, State's Attorney for
Dorchester county, for professional services rendered the
State.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Claims.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section G of Article 56,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Billiards."

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Neill,
Morse and Kirk.

Mr. Gatch, Chairman of a Joint Select Committee on An-
tietam National Cemetery, submitted the following
