On motion of Mr. McLane,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the special order of the day tor this P. M., at 8
o'clock.

On motion of Mr. McLane,
The Rules were suspended,

And the House proceeded to the consideration of House
bills entitled to a third reading.,

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act, passed at the
January session, 1867, of the General Assembly of Maryland,
chapter 219, entitled an Act to incorporate the Monumental
Insurance Company of Baltimore, and to change the name
of said Corporation and enlarge its powers.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
