On motion of Mr. Gatch,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Antietam Ceme-
tery to report a bill to appropriate a sum of money to be
expended in removing the remains of the Confederate dead
in Frederick county to the Mount Olivet Cemetery, in said
county.
On motion of Mr. Owens,
Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill authorizing the Trustees of the Lower West Nottingham
Presbyterian Church, in Cecil county, to add by purchase
four acres of land to the grove surrounding said Church.
On motion of Mr. Kilbourn,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to repeal the second and third sections of
the Act passed at January session, 1868, chapter 302, entitled
an Act to provide for refunding money paid into the Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Winters,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to make all promissory notes that shall be given to
the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Carroll county, for pre-
miums for insurance, operate as liens upon all property in-
sured by the said Company.
On motion of Mr. Neill,
Leave was granted to the Washington delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorize the Mayor and Council of Hagers-
town to open and extend Ladel Spring alley in Hagerstown,
and also to open Jackson street, in said town.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Friendship Horse Thief
Detective Association, of Washington county.
On motion of Mr. Veitch.
Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to intro-
duce a bill to repeal sections 55, 56, 57, 58, 60, 65 and 73 of
Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Mont-
gomery County," sub-title "Rockville," and enact other
sections in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Hardcastle, of Talbot,
