Amend the 3d section by adding:

Provided, however, that the local Board of Supervisors of
the first district be, and they are hereby specially authorized
and empowered to levy and collect the tax for keeping the
roads .and bridges in the said district in repair for the space
of two years from the first day of March, 1870, and to do all
other acts and things, as provided for in the original Act
providing for the repairs of roads and bridges in said dis-
trict.

Amend the 4th section by adding :

Provided, however, that the local boards of the first and
thirteenth districts be, and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to carry out and complete the Avenue known as
Wilkins' Avenue, from its present terminus across and be-
yond Gwynn's Falls, to a point where the lines of the lands
owned by Lurman, Cooper and Parker intersect, as hereto-
fore petitioned for, condemned and determined to be opened
by said Boards of the second and thirteenth districts, acting
as a Joint Board. And to follow the line of said Avenue, as
laid down upon Kahler's plat of the same ; hereby empow-
ering said local Boards of Supervisors to do all acts and
things in relation to the opening of said Avenue as may be
necessary for the full completion of the same, either under
the original Act of 1868, chapter 411, or this enabling Act
thereto.

Which were severally read and adopted.

And the bill, as amended, read a second time and ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ment, an Act entitled an Act to Incorporate the Corn and
Flour Exchange of the City of Baltimore, passed March 23d,
1865, chapter 83.

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 112, of the Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1868, chapter 47, re-
lating to the formation of Corporations, and to re-enact said
section.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 149, 150, 151,
152, 153, 154, 155, 156 and 157 of the third Article of the
Public Local Laws relating to roads in Baltimore county,
and sub-sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and section 3 of the Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, chapter 411, approved
