similar services at the last session of the General Assembly.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hopkins submitted the following order;

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that Wm. M.
Ady is detained irom his seat in this House on account of
sickness.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Jordan submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Wm. A. Grouse be granted leave of absence
until Tuesday next, on account of sickness in his- family.

Which was adopted.
Also,

Ordered, That the Postmaster be required to comply with,
the requirement of the rules of the House of Delegates in re-
gard to mailing and delivering the mails.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Garey,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to provide for the manner of making up officers'
accounts in Caroline county, and for the approval thereof.

On motion of Mr, Bowlus.

Leave was granted the Frederick county Delegation to
introduce a bill to add additional sections to Articl II, Code
of Public Local Laws, title, "Frederick County," sub-title,
" Middletown," to come in after section 233.

On motion of Mr. Jordan,

Leave was granted to the Carroll county Delegation to intro-
duce a bill for the better protection of game in Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to regulate and make uniform the fees of Con-
stables and Magistrates.

Mr. Blake submitted the following order:

Ordered, That F. S. Hoblitzell be excused for two days,
ou account of pressing business.

Which was adopted.

Mr. White submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed
to inquire into the law regulating Magistrates' fees.
