So the amendment was rejected.
Mr. McCreery submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
And provided further, That the Baltimore and Ohio Rail-
road Co., the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Rail-
road Co., the Philadelphia and Baltimore Central Railroad
Company, and all other Railroad Companies now or hereafter
to be incorporated, shall have the right to the use of the said
Baltimore and Potomac Railroad, in the same way, and on
the same terms and conditions as are prescribed for the West-
ern Maryland and Union Railroad Companies, when so au-
thorized and directed by the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore.
