AMENDMENTS PKOPOSED,

Amend section 1 by striking out after the word "hun-
dred," in line 3, the words "cadet muskets or Enfield rifles,"
and insert in lieu thereof the words, Austrian muskets in the
armory at Annapolis.

Amend section 3 and 4 by striking out both sections entire.

The amendments were severally read and adopted, and the
bill, aa amended, read a second time.

Mr. Kilbourn, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably, without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10 of Ar-
ticle 97- of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
State Wharfinger and Wharves, and to rejenact the same
with amendments.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at December
session, 1845, chapter 37, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Mutual Insurance Cumpany of Washington county and the
several Acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to remove the disabilities of all per-
sons which have been incurred under the 41st section of Ar-
ticle 3rd of the Constitution, and to restore them to the full
privileges of citizens.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A. bill entitled an Act to repeal section 138 of Article 16, "
of the Code of Public General Laws, t\tle "Chancery," sub-
title "Trustees," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Aet to regulate the pay of Bailiffs of the
Superior Court of Baltimore city, of the Court of Common
Pleas of Baltimore city, of the Baltimore City Court, of the
Circuit Court of Baltimore City, and of the Criminal Court of
Baltimore City.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hardcastle, Chairman of the Committee on Militia,
reported favorably,
