On motion of Mr. Wiley,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to amend Article 93, section 5, of the Public-
General Laws, in relation to funeral expenses to be allowed
by Courts.

On motion of Mr. Harris,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill legalizing the bequests of John Whitmore made
to certain Lutheran and Reformed Churches in Frederick
county.

On motion of Mr. Choate,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
report a bill authorizing the Commissioners of Baltimore
county to levy a sum of money for the construction of a.
bridge over Jones' Falls, at Mt. Washington.

On motion of Mr. Hardcastle, of Caroline,

Leave was granted to the Caroline delegation and Mr>
Wilmer, to introduce a bill to repeal sections 98, 99, 100,.
101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112
and 113 of Article 6, of the Code of Public Local Laws, un-
der title "Caroline county," sub-title "Greensborough,"
and the Act of 1866, chapter 96. and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to the Charles delegation and Mr.
Loker, to report a bill to empower the County Commission-
ers of Charles county to change the division lines between
the election districts of said county.

On motion of Mr. Winters,

Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a-
bill to repeal section one hundred and fifteen, Article seven,
Public Local Laws, title "Carroll county," sub-title "West-
minster," and re-enact the same with amendment.

On motion of Mr. Cameron,

The bill entitled an Act to make valid the acts and deeds
of the Road Supervisors in Baltimore county, acting under
the laws passed at the January session of 1868, chapter 411,
approved 30th of March, 1868.

Which had been read a first time on Thursday, 17th
inst.,
